Step 1: Download PulseTunes
Run this on your Windows PC. It reads what's playing and sends it to the widget — and it now handles Twitch !sr song requests over Spotify or YouTube, with automatic YouTube background music when your queue is empty.

Song Requests (!sr)

Viewers can now request songs directly from Twitch chat. PulseTunes reads
!sr <query> messages, searches your chosen source, adds the track to
your queue, and replies in chat when the song starts playing. Choose
Spotify or YouTube as the source — YouTube plays
natively inside Pulse Tunes with no extra setup.
1Choose your source — Right-click the tray icon → Music Source. Pick Spotify (needs a Premium account) or YouTube (plays inside Pulse Tunes).
2Link Twitch — Right-click the tray icon → Twitch. Register a free app at dev.twitch.tv/console/apps, set the redirect URL to http://localhost:8889/callback, paste your Client ID and Secret, then click Link Bot and Link Broadcaster.
3Connect & go — Enter your channel name and bot username, click Connect, and viewers can start typing !sr in chat.
NEW: YouTube Background Music. Paste a YouTube playlist URL into the YouTube Player window and tick "Enable". Whenever nobody has requested anything, PulseTunes keeps the music going. Viewer requests cut the background track immediately — no waiting behind long playlists.
Note: Spotify Premium is required for Spotify queueing. Free accounts will receive a "Premium required" error in chat. The bot replies with cooldown warnings, "not found" errors, and "your song is now playing" confirmations. Default cooldown is 2 minutes per user, and the queue is capped at 10 pending requests (both configurable in the Twitch dialog).

Dynamic Accent
What this does: When enabled, PulseTunes automatically extracts the dominant color from the current album art and applies it to the widget's glow effect, border, progress bar, and background wash. Every song change creates a unique color theme that matches the artwork.
Default accent is used when dynamic accent is off or no album art is available.
